Job Description
Nando’s South Africa is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join its payroll team in the Johannesburg Head Office. The candidate will be required to analyse, process and review the day to day payroll operations for Nandocas in Casas in order to ensure an accurate monthly pay run.
Minimum Requirements
• 1 -2 years of experience in payroll administration (On the job training more important) • 2+ years experience in SAGE X3 HR and Payroll system • 2 + years experience in Time and Attendance system
Duties and Responsibilities
Payroll Administration: • Prepares and processes payroll input for the casas within the allocated region (Time and Attendance system), • Review HR changes, engagements and terminations) and process payslips • Review all new employee files • Make sure all necessary documents are attached to employee records (UIF document, U12.7 forms, U19 forms etc.) • Administrate acting allowances • Review and process payslips with final settlements for terminated employees • Attends to queries • Review and ensure accuracy of leave captured between SAGE and Time and Attendance System • Responsible for weekly EFT payment process • Responsible for month end 3rd party payments via Profile • Responsible for payroll recoveries reconciliation and EFT at month end. • Responsible for bargaining council reconciliation and EFT at month end. • Process all maternity related matters and ensure all UIF (labour related) document are completed • Performs various ad hoc functions as and when required, including, but not limited to, support to HR department, relieving Payroll Administrator when required etc. • Ensure Time and Attendance system and Sage data is aligned on a daily basis Reports: • Responsible for creating, investigate and action SAGE payroll and HR reports daily • Responsible for creating, reviewing and communicating to line management all unpaid leave status transactions on leave taken report and getting approval to deduct unpaid leave. • Responsible for reviewing and comparing leave captured for patraos between Time and attendance system and SAGE People Central.
