Performs administrative tasks and applies procedural controls to monitor the receipting, storage movements and retrieval of documentation/ correspondence and reports; processing of information and maintenance of records; organization of operational and office requirements and provision of clerical and office support in order to ensure instructions and guidelines are complied with, adequate and efficient support made available and requirements organized/ facilitated to enable the Department to achieve specific priorities, reporting deadlines and programmed outcomes.
Key Responsibility Areas
Provides an adequate and efficient record keeping service. Provides support and administers operational and maintenance applications associated with the electronic documents management system. Controls archiving procedures in respect of aged/ dated records. Co-ordinates administrative processes related to project/ contract information management. Provides a comprehensive and efficient administrative support function and systems. Assist Manager with Asset inventory and verifications. Attends to the processing and maintenance of information and/or arrangement of specific requirements associated with the Expanded Public Works Program. Co-ordinates processes associated with compilation and implementation of the Workplace Skills Plan for the Department.
Matric/Grade 12 plus relevant certificate accredited by SAQA. Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code B). 2 Years relevant experience. Computer Literacy.
Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification, i.e. Diploma or Degree. 3 years relevant experience
R 231 180.20 – R 300 073.42 Per Annum
