Job Purpose and Impact
The Merchant Assistant will provide administrative support to our trading desks. We seek a professional who will prepare day-to-day reporting, commodity pricing, profit and loss estimates, and other supporting duties. Key Accountabilities
Maintain and cultivate established relationships with small accounts, customers, clients, suppliers, and other business partners. Collaborate closely with various business partners, including the supply chain and field team to achieve origination objectives. Prepare reports and conduct competitive analysis, including pricing sheets, regular origination reporting, reconciliation for positions, as well as profit and loss estimates. Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under general supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, secondary education level or equivalent Confirmed analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum of two years of related work experience
