Our client wishes to employ a Sales Administrator in Johannesburg. The successful incumbent will be based in the Head Office and will be responsible for all administrative sales support and the submission of quotations, reporting to the National Sales Administration Manager. This is a career development and EE position.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The successful incumbent will need to:
    • Primary objective: To ensure that all quote requests received are responded to within a reasonable time frame in the correct structures
    • Ensure that relevant parties are informed of emails pertaining to their division / region
    • To ensure that quote requests received through any other media (including fax) are responded to timeously
    • To liaise with product managers and sales team on a regular basis and ensure that price files are up to date
    • To take care of all corporate quotations nationally and ensure that corporate pricing structures are adhered to
    • To assist with the compilation of tenders when required
    • To submit RFQ’s
    • Provide first-line sales telephonic assistance to customers
    • To assist walk-in customers
    • Assist in answering calls where necessary
    • Assist with customer queries telephonically
    • Serve as backup for other related positions

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Sales Administration and quoting experience in the South African Medical device market will be advantageous
  • Recognized course in Customer Service
  • Relevant Qualification will be advantageous
  • Excellent Computer literacy (MS Products and APPAC/SAGE300)
  • Product knowledge
  • Sense of urgency
  • Excellent ability to plan, organize and handle all customer queries
  • Handle up to 150 emails per day
