Duties are, but not limited to:

- Testing of raw materials, intermediate, stability, cleaning validation and final products using all analytical instruments and techniques as specified in specification and make concomitant entries in test data sheet.
- To ensure compliance with current Good Laboratory Practices as laid down in the Quality Control procedures.
- Maintenance or upkeep of Laboratory working area i.e. good housekeeping.
- Following the laid down safety precautions while working in the laboratory.
- Carry out Validations, Calibrations/ Verifications, and Equipment qualification, when required.
- Sampling and testing of water (laboratory and facility) as per procedures. Ensure gas supply is maintained at adequate stock levels.
- Capturing of data on trend cards/ electronic system for generation of trends for the individual item / product and maintenance of the same.
- Preparation of test solutions and preparation and standardization of volumetric solutions.
- Responsible for logging retention sample into the retention store.
- Compilation and interpretation of all results to an analytical report sheet/trending of data.
- Provide support in resolving laboratory investigations, deviations and developing CAPA’s as assigned.
- Prompt reporting of abnormal observations of OOS, OOT, analytical incidents, instrument malfunctioning etc. or obvious error occurred during preparation to Team Leader.
- Analyst should read the relevant specification and organize the work in such a manner that testing can be completed in stipulated time.
- Responsible for method development & Method Validation
