Currently, we are looking a self-motivated Office Administrator who will be responsible for providing administrative support to our office in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies
- Track stock of office supplies and merchandise and place orders when necessary
- Overseeing the maintenance of office facilities, and equipment.
- Submit timely weekly/event reports and prepare presentations as assigned
- Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments, travel expenses, etc. for the MD
- Create and update records and databases with office and events data (SharePoint)
- Assists in planning and arranging events, including organising catering
- Performing other relevant duties and assisting other colleagues when needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
- +3 or more years’ office administration experience.
- Must speak Spanish & English, French would be an advantage
- Current residence in Johannesburg
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- IMPRESCINDIBLE Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
- High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
