Receiving Admin
Key Performance Area
- Checks delivery note against outstanding purchase order report to ensure that goods delivered have been ordered and are due for delivery on date stated.
- Off-loads materials using a forklift where possible.
- Ensures that the material received complies with material stipulated on the delivery note.
- Draws samples for QC and ensures that identification stickers are placed on drums or bags.
- Moves approved materials to Stores or designated storage area and places these in appropriate racks or rows.
- Checks delivery notes and contents of bulk tankers prior to discharge ensuring that lines/valves are correctly set and that the material is pumped into the correct bulk tank.
- Assists with stocktaking
- Wash all containers to be used for decanting into.
- Ensure that rework is added as specified by Q.C.
- Be responsible for your housekeeping in your area.
- The receiver shall be responsible for housekeeping in their working area.
- Report any problems/delays which are affecting the efficient issuing to the team leader.
- Report all breakdowns immediately.
- The Issuer shall perform and exercise all such duties in relation to the business of the Company as may from time to time be vested in or assigned to him/her by the Company.
- The Issuer shall comply with all directives from time to time given to him/her by the Company and with all policies, rules and regulations from time to time laid down by the Company.
- The Issuer shall undergo / attend any training or other courses that the Company in its sole discretion may require from time to time.

Minimum Requirements
- NQF 6
- Month training, 3 months experience in factory environment.
