Your Role:
An exciting opportunity has opened up with our company. We are looking to hire a Local Shipping Administrator in Johannesburg, South Africa.
As a Local Shipping Administrator, you will have the following responsibilities:
Receives, records, consolidates and sends Production jobs with the dedicated driver to the production site
Prints, counts and records labels upon instruction from QC and Planner
Once jobs are complete and returned, proceeds to issue the raw and packaging material
Ensure that all costings are done correctly and if not investigates and corrects the costings in conjunction with the Planners
Submits Batch Manufacturing documents to Planner and QC for checking and final sign off
Processes stock transfer to the 3PL for the GRVing of the manufactured product
Files and electronically back up BMD’s on Labfolder/ Quality folder
Electronically saves all Supplier COA’s
Loads COA’s on Cesar
Maintains and circulates production daily reports
Accurate processing of stock adjustments once approved by Management. 100% accuracy of stock write offs and allocations to correct account codes
Supports the directive to maintain no assign/ damage stock at the warehouse by pulling COA’s for all expired stock and circulates to the Planners. Investigates and highlights to the Planner possible re-tests and re-packs to salvage the stock
Actively investigates movement and adds information regarding previous customers name’s, etc to the Provision list and circulates to the Planners
Takes accountability for managing customer specific requirements
Designs labels for damaged stock in conjunction with the Planner and Quality
Assists in maintaining the supplier management log
Where required and under very close supervision from the Head of Planning and Planner, support the sourcing process to maintain a library of alternate sources and in cases of supply disruption
Who you are:
Degree in a science related field
Proficient in Excel
7-10 years’ experience in a Supply Chain environment
SAP experience is an advantage
