This position is, in the normal course of events, office bound. Currently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most employees are working from home. When it is safe to do so, and management announces a return to office, you will be required to comply with this instruction. The main purpose of this role is to provide first line support to Clients by effectively processing all Client input documents, requests for information / queries and perform first-line problem resolution, in order to ensure BankservAfrica’s products and services proactively meet Client and industry expectations.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
Manage and control individual and relevant intervention, project and programme costs
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
Develop and maintain good stakeholder relationships
Deliver on internal and external stakeholder requirements/SLA’s
STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT
Contribute to and deliver on BU goals and activities aligned to departmental strategy
INITIATIVE/PROJECTS FOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Demonstrate innovative thinking in area of expertise and translate this into business process/ solutions/ working practice improvements
Deliver client or company specific projects in line with company standards and in agreement with line manager
INTERNAL COLLABORATION AND ENGAGEMENT
Foster open communication between support areas, establish agreed priorities for projects and leverage shared services in achieving objectives.
Where necessary Identify new revenue opportunities an escalate to product management for further action
Monitor service level agreements with all support functions where it impacts products.
Regular meetings IT (Operations (service related and resolution)
CRM SUPPORT
Provide input for CRM Operations meetings
MONTHLY REPORTING
Quality monthly reporting (submitted on time, professions demonstrable thought/comments, accuracy etc.).
Track and drive resolution of any system performance issues, or incidents raised.
Monthly reporting on customer service provided, implications and any actions to grow or improve.
Ensure monthly billing and reporting is accurate and actioned together with the Finance team
PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
Define and analyse problems, incidents etc. and escalate in order to derive a solution
Provide product technical and application training where necessary
Proactive management of incidents and communication where appropriate.
COMPLIANCE AND RISK MANAGEMENT
Policies and procedures: Stay abreast with all company policies and procedures.
Develop, amend and implement procedures
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant policies & procedures, regulation and legislation
Risk: Ensure risks are reported on and mitigated
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
People Development: Take ownership of performance and identify development needs and obtain skills identified.
Development plan- an approved development plan in place
QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE (INCLUDING MOST RELEVANT FIELD OF STUDY)
Business Qualification degree / diploma would be an advantage
Required Microsoft office suites
Business writing Knowledge
EXPERIENCE (INCLUDING RELEVANT SECTOR SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in payment and financial industry
BankservAfrica products (EFT, AC, EDO, Card, AVS, ICMS, MNS, etc) and processes
