Bursary Overview
The Sasol Mainstream Bursaries 2027 target students who want to study full-time at recognised South African universities. Sasol covers your costs and helps build your skills through mentorship and training. After you finish your degree, you may join their Graduate Development Programme. Keep in mind there is a workback requirement, so you commit to working for Sasol later.
What the Bursary Covers
This bursary pays for key expenses to let you focus on your studies. It includes full tuition fees and costs for accommodation. You also get help with other study-related needs. On top of money, Sasol offers structured support like mentorship.

Who Can Apply: Minimum Requirements
Not everyone qualifies, so check these points first. You must be a South African citizen under 30 years old. Plan to study full-time in a degree programme at a recognised university. Strong marks in school are key, especially in Mathematics (not Maths Literacy). Diplomas and distance learning like UNISA do not count.

- Your latest academic results from Grade 11 or higher

- Any extra papers the form asks for
How to Apply
Submit your application online only through the official portal. Go to the Sasol bursary site to begin. One application per person is allowed. Make sure it is complete and correct, or it will be rejected. Selection depends on your grades and Sasol’s needs. It is very competitive.
