- OR an NCV Level 4 certificate with relevant Trade Theory, Mathematics, and vocational subjects.
- OR a Technical Grade 12 certificate including Mathematics, Physical Science, and relevant Trade Theory.
- Mathematics Pass: At least 50% in Mathematics.
- Age: Between 18 and 30 years old.
- Citizenship: Must be a South African citizen.
- Previous Certification: Applicants must not already possess a Trade Certificate or Red Seal.
