Internship Streams

Grants Administration (80 Posts)

This area deals with helping people apply for grants and managing daily services. Interns assist clients, handle queues, and enter data like biometrics. They also keep records, support digital tools, and help with reports.

Locations cover Mangaung Metro areas like Bloemfontein, Botshabelo, and QwaQwa. Other spots include Thabo Mofutsanyana towns such as Bethlehem and Harrismith, Lejweleputswa sites like Welkom, Fezile Dabi offices in Sasolburg, and Xhariep places like Zastron.

Debt Management (13 Posts)

Here, the focus stays on money matters like tracking debts and payments. Interns reconcile accounts, calculate interest, talk to debtors, and prepare documents. They aid in recovering funds while following rules.

Posts appear in the Regional Office, plus the same Free State districts: Mangaung Metro, Thabo Mofutsanyana, Lejweleputswa, Fezile Dabi, and Xhariep.

Minimum Requirements

You need South African citizenship. A National Qualifications Framework Level 6 qualification with 360 credits works best. Fields include Business Management, Public Administration, Financial Management, Accounting, IT or Computer Science, Marketing, or Social Sciences.

Basic computer skills count too. Expect background checks and tests to prove your fit.

Salary and Benefits

Interns earn between R228,321 and R268,950 yearly. The extra 37% covers benefits not included. This setup gives a solid start in government pay scales.
