Programme Overview
The Hesto Harnesses Graduate Programme runs for 24 months as a fixed-term contract. It targets unemployed South African graduates who want practical training in automotive manufacturing. Available Programmes
Hesto Harnesses has two main tracks to match different career paths.
Graduate in Training: Organisational Design & Development
This program centers on human resources and organizational growth. You will handle HR tasks, join performance reviews, and support admin work for better organization.
To qualify, you need a BCom in Human Resources Management or a Bachelor of Human Resources Management. A Bachelor of Human Resources Development helps but is not required. Your degree must show at least a 60% average, and it must be complete.
Engineer in Training
This track builds skills in engineering for the automotive field. Duties include engineering tasks, performance checks, and help with technical projects and process upgrades.
You need a BEng or BSc in Industrial Engineering with at least a 60% average. The qualification must be finished.
General Requirements
Both programs share key entry rules. You must be a South African citizen aged 18 or older. Hold a completed qualification with a 60% average and no unpaid tuition fees. Speak and write English well, and provide academic transcripts. No past internships or graduate programs count, and you need a clean criminal record.
Programme Duration and Remuneration
Each program lasts 24 months on a fixed-term contract. Pay follows market rates, which means competitive salaries for entry-level roles in the sector.
