Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria to be considered for these internships:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have no criminal record.
- Be an unemployed graduate at the time of application.
- Be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Specific qualification requirements vary by position:
- For NQF Level 7 Posts (R7,500 stipend): A SAQA-recognised Bachelor’s Degree at NQF Level 7 in Psychology, Applied Social Science, Social Sciences, Community Development, or counselling-related fields.
- For NQF Level 6 Posts (R6,000 stipend): An NQF Level 6 qualification in Counselling and Communication Skills, Psychology, Applied Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Social Sciences, Community Development, Youth Development, Social Work, or a related field.
- For Open Learning Centre (NQF Level 6, R6,000 stipend): Preference will be given to graduates with NQF Level 6 qualifications in Library and Information Studies, Information and Communications Technology, or Information Technology.
