What Is the Exxaro PIT Programme?
The Exxaro Professional-in-Training (PIT) Programme builds skills through hands-on work, mentorship, and growth activities. Graduate in Training Financial Accountancy (PIT)

You need a BCom in Financial Accountancy or Management Accountancy. Exxaro looks for strong analysis skills, problem-solving, leadership, clear communication, Microsoft Office knowledge, teamwork, and the ability to work alone or under pressure. You must be ready to relocate.
In this role, expect experience in financial reporting, cost control, budgeting, corporate finance, analysis, and mining finance operations.
Graduate in Training Data Sciences (PIT)
Reference number: EXX251112-1 (Exxaro ref: P400000002).
Requirements include a BSc or BComp in Data Sciences. Show analytical skills, problem-solving, leadership, teamwork, communication, Office proficiency, adaptability, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
You will work on data analytics, AI, machine learning, business intelligence, data modeling, mining tech systems, and digital projects.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
In both programs, you will follow development plans, join performance reviews, present at PIT symposiums, help operational teams, take part in research, support innovation projects, and follow safety rules.
