The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) Internships 2026 offer a great chance for South African graduates to gain real-world experience. This 24-month program starts on July 1, 2026, and runs until June 30, 2028. It helps young people build skills for jobs in government and other sectors while working to grow South Africa’s economy.

Program Details

The Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) Internships 2026 take place in Sunnyside, Pretoria. The program gives interns hands-on work in government systems. It aims to make participants more employable by teaching practical skills and knowledge.

Interns will earn a monthly stipend of R7,860.50. This amount may change based on the highest qualification held at the start.

Basic Requirements

To qualify for the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic) Internships 2026, you must:

  • Hold a qualification at NQF Level 6 or above.

If no feedback in 3 months, assume you were not selected.
