Minimum Requirements

To be considered for these internships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a South African citizen.
  • Hold a relevant qualification as specified for each internship. This includes Master’s degrees, LLB, BA Law, BCom Law, or NQF Level 7 Bachelor’s Degrees.
  • Have not previously participated in an internship programme.
  • Meet specific requirements for each role, such as a valid driver’s licence for the Policy & Research position.

Competencies Required

Depending on the specific internship, successful candidates may need to demonstrate:

  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent legal research and drafting skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation like BCEA, LRA, EEA, and OHSA for HR roles.
  • Digital communication capabilities for the Public Education & Information role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, Access, Power BI).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel.
