Programme Duration and Location

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for these internships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Financial Services Internship:
  • A three-year bachelor’s degree or National Diploma with majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Internal Auditing, or Risk Management.
  • Internal Auditing and Risk Management Internship:
  • A three-year bachelor’s degree or National Diploma with a focus on Internal Auditing and/or Risk Management.

General Requirements for both internships:

  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in at least two official languages of the Western Cape (Afrikaans, English, isiXhosa).
  • South African citizenship.
  • No previous learnership or internship experience in a similar field may be preferred.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong human-relations skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A high level of responsibility.
  • Accounting and numeracy skills.
