What the Bursary Covers

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, meet these rules:

• Be Black African or Coloured.
• Come from a disadvantaged background.
• Be in Matric now or finished it in the last two years.
• Have at least 60% in Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) in Grade 11.
• Plan to study Accounting at a listed university in 2027.
• Have applied or plan to apply to that university.
• Have a family income of R350 000 or less per year.
• Have written or plan to write the National Benchmark Tests (NBT).

Selection Process

The team picks applicants based on school marks, financial need from NSFAS tests, and NBT scores. Shortlisted students hear back soon. No news means the application did not succeed.
