Dalhousie Medical Scholarships<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The following awards are open to UNB graduates beginning the Dalhousie Medical program, hosted at UNB Saint John. Please email awards@unb.ca for the application, which covers all scholarships below. Deadline to apply is June 30.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Dr. Richard & Lynne Winter Scholarship<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\n

\n

One scholarship valued at\u00a0$4,000<\/strong>\u00a0will be awarded. Selection is based on financial need and scholastic attainment.<\/p>\n

Donor:<\/strong> Dr. Richard W. Winter, BSc from UNB (\u201953) and MD, CM from Dalhousie University (\u201958) to honour his late wife Lynne (Lordly) Winter, a graduate from the School of Nursing, V.G.H., Halifax (\u201956). Dr. Winter interned at the Saint John General Hospital from \u201857-58.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0Dr. Ian MacDonald Scholarship<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\n

One scholarship valued at\u00a0$3,000<\/strong> will be awarded. The recipient must be a graduate of a New Brunswick high school and a New Brunswick resident. Selection is based on scholastic achievement and financial need.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u00a0Dr. Margot R. Roach Scholarship in Medicine<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\n

One scholarship valued at\u00a0approximately $8,000<\/strong>\u00a0will be awarded. Selection is based on academic achievement and financial need. The recipient must be a New Brunswick resident.<\/p>\n
