Details of Netflix Creative Equity Scholarship Fund<\/b>.<\/strong><\/h2>\n
Netflix, the world\u2019s leading streaming entertainment service, has committed\u00a0US$1 Million<\/strong>\u00a0towards a\u00a0Creative Equity Scholarship Fund (CESF)<\/strong> in Sub-Saharan Africa that will provide financial support to African creatives to access quality tertiary education in film and TV-focused disciplines at sought-after academic programs\/institutions. This is part of Netflix\u2019s ongoing efforts to invest in Africa\u2019s creative industries and for more diverse and new voices to tell African stories.<\/p>\n
For the\u00a0Southern African Development Community (SADC) region,\u00a0<\/strong>Netflix has partnered with social investment fund management and advisory firm\u00a0Tshikululu Social Investments<\/a>\u00a0as implementing partner\/fund administrator, with the responsibility of successfully executing the project in Southern Africa.<\/p>\n
The CESF is designed to provide financial assistance through full scholarships at partner higher educational institutions (HEI) in South Africa, as listed below, to support the formal qualification and training of aspiring creatives from the SADC region.<\/p>\n
Benefits<\/p>\n
The scholarship will cover the costs for tuition, accommodation, study materials and living expenses at institutions to which beneficiaries have gained admission to pursue a course of study in the TV & film disciplines.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
This scholarship opportunity is open to:<\/p>\n

Final year undergraduate students completing their degree in 2025; or Postgraduate students pursuing a one-year qualification in 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
