This will ensure that your payment is processed without undue delay.<\/p>\n<p>The annual fees for the calendar year 2023 for different categories of practitioners are provided in the table Annual Fee<\/h3>\n<p>Please take note of the following important points to avoid delays in the processing of payments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>DO\u00a0<\/b>indicate your Council reference number, payment type code \u2018ANLFEES\u2019 and full names when making payments to the Council.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<b>DO\u00a0<\/b>pay the correct amount depending on your category \u2013 not more or less \u2013 unless you have been requested to pay only part of the amount by the Council.<\/li>\n<li><b>DO\u00a0<\/b>make sure that all electronic or other payments are made into the<b>\u00a0South African Nursing Council\u00a0<\/b>bank account.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<b>DO keep<\/b>\u00a0your bank deposit slip in case of queries.<\/li>\n<li><b>DO NOT fax or post your proof of payment to the Council<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 unless you are requested to do so.<\/li>\n<li><b>DO NOT\u00a0<\/b>pay at the bank if your personal details or address must be changed \u2013 in this case, post your remittance to Council.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Tips for Persons Wishing to Pay the Annual Fee from Outside the Republic of South Africa<\/h3>\n<p>It is very expensive to transfer money from one country to another.\u00a0 The banks on both the sending end and the receiving end will charge fees and this can amount to more than the required payment!<\/p>\n<p>Please refer to\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sanc.co.za\/serv_af.htm#Note%204\">Note 4<\/a>\u00a0above, in the section \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/sanc.co.za\/serv_af.htm#How%20much%20are%20the%20Annual\">How much are the annual fees?<\/a>\u201c, with regard to additional amounts that may have to be paid by practitioners paying in foreign currency.<\/p>\n<p>Council, therefore, recommends the following alternatives:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>If possible, get a friend or family member in South Africa to pay the fee on your behalf \u2013 and pay them back when you return to South Africa.<\/li>\n<li>Pay the fee electronically out of your South African bank account using Internet banking.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>NB:\u00a0 If you do make arrangements to pay your annual fees in South Africa, you will NOT have to pay the Foreign Bank Fees shown on your annual fee reminder.<\/p>\n<p>If you cannot make either of the above arrangements to pay your annual fees in South Africa, please establish from your bank what charges will be levied at both ends and transfer sufficient funds to cover the charges and the fees you are paying.\u00a0 This will eliminate unnecessary correspondence and delays.<\/p>\n<p>You will also need to provide your bank with the following details about the Nursing Council\u2019s bank to ensure that your payment is transferred correctly:<\/p>\n<div align=\"center\">\n<table border=\"4\" allocate the foreign payment to the correct person.\u00a0 This is an important step that should not be omitted.\u00a0 The SWIFT system seldom transmits any usable reference information with the payments.<\/p>\n<p><b>Note:\u00a0\u00a0<\/b>The Annual Practising Certificate will be posted to the postal address in the register.\u00a0 If you have changed you postal address to an address in a
