Work Description: The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for assisting with running of Tests and administration of Samples sent to the Laboratory<\/p>\n

Technical Work Responsibilities:
\nReceive labelled samples for processing
\nData capture of samples in Lab Information Management System (LIMS) or Laboratory Data Management System (LDMS)
\nAdministrative tasks
\nMonitor and control stock
\nDaily maintenance of equipment and temperatures
\nAssist with receiving and shipment of samples<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Requirements<\/b><\/div>\n

\nEducation
\nGrade 12 or equivalent<\/p>\n

Experience:
\nMinimum of two years related experience and\/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience
\nKnowledge of principles of Good Clinical Laboratory Practice (GCLP) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP), International Air Transport Association (IATA).<\/p>\n

Requirements:
\nSA Citizen or valid work permit to work in South Africa
\nWorking knowledge of MS office and laboratory database including LIMS\/LDMS
\nAbility to work autonomously and under pressure
\nWilling to work overtime<\/p>\n

Advantageous:
\nDriver\u2019s License
\nOwn Car<\/p>\n
