When you register for a Learnership Programme you will receive training towards a full qualification but you don’t have to pay study fees. In fact, when you register for a Learnership you will be paid in the form of a stipend. This means you will be paid monthly while you are on the leadership – the amount you will be paid depends on the academic level of the Learnership.
Ndlambe Local Municipality Learnerships Programme Details
Interested applicants can apply for the Ndlambe Local Municipality Learnership 2022 provided they qualify and meet the program requirements.
Apprenticeship: 10 x aircraft maintenance mechanic (3 years).
The Ndlambe local municipality with 43 air school is offering the following apprenticeship: aircraft maintenance mechanic funded by teta grants. Successful candidates will be drawn from ndlambe municipal wards.
Conditions of the apprenticeship
- Grade 12 with a pass rate of 50% and above in both mathematics and general science (not life sciences)
- Must submit cv and proof of residence
- Certified copies of matric certificate and identity document
- All short-listed candidates will be required to undergo an interview process which will include both an aptitude test as well as a practical assessment. Only candidates who successfully complete this process will be considered for the apprenticeship.
- Please note the grant covers tuition only and does not include accommodation, meals or transport. A R2, 000 (two thousand rand) monthly stipend is included.

- Proof of canvassing of councillors and / or managers will disqualify candidates; and
- The municipality and 43 Air School reserves the right not to proceed with engaging candidates into the programme
