When you register for a Learnership Programme you will receive training towards a full qualification but you don’t have to pay study fees. In fact, when you register for a Learnership you will be paid in the form of a stipend. This means you will be paid monthly while you are on the leadership – the amount you will be paid depends on the academic level of the Learnership.

BankSETA Learnerships Programme Details

Interested applicants can apply for the BankSETA Learnership 2022 provided they qualify and meet the program requirements.

BankSETA: Kuyasa Generic Management Internships / Learnership Programme 2021

This Learnership offers you the opportunity to gain 1 year’s work experience as well as an NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking Service Advice relevant to the Banking sector. The BANKSETA welcomes applications from Persons with Disabilities.

A monthly allowance of R4 300 will be paid to the successful applicants.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently unemployed.
  • Clear credit (ITC) and no criminal record.
  • Under the age of 35 as at 1 July 2021.
  • Currently not participating in a learnership.
  • Not involved in any other studies from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022.
  • Persons with a disability must provide a medical certificate confirming the nature of the disability.
  • Only South African citizens in possession of a valid SA ID will be considered.

Required Education:

Completed a 3 Year Tertiary Qualification In:

  • Risk Management,
  • Information Technology,
  • Information Systems,
  • Informatics,
  • Financial Accounting,
  • Financial Management,
  • Human Resources,
  • Statistics,
  • Economics,
  • Commerce Or Law,
  • Marketing And Communications,
  • Actuary

Competencies:

  • Detail Orientation
  • Effective communication in written and verbal English.
  • Patience
  • Self Confidence/Resilience
