To be eligible for these internships, applicants must meet several key criteria. They need to be South African citizens, aged between 18 and 35 years old, and reside within Johannesburg communities. A crucial requirement is that applicants must not have previously participated in an internship programme, unless that experience was unrelated to their field of study or career aspirations. This ensures that the opportunities are accessible to those who genuinely need this foundational experience.
