About the Apprenticeship

This program gives practical training in electrical systems. You will work with qualified electricians on campus infrastructure maintenance. It builds skills that match industry standards. The start date is as soon as possible after selection.

Duties and Responsibilities

In these roles, you will assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment. You will join maintenance teams to fix electrical problems. Learn electrical codes and safety standards while using tools and equipment. Keep records of your work and join training sessions.

Minimum Requirements

To apply, you need a Grade 12 certificate or NCV Level 4. You must have N3, N4, N5, or N6 in Electrical Engineering. A valid driver’s license is required.

Recommended Skills

Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring helps. Understanding electrical diagrams and blueprints is useful. Experience with hand and power tools is a plus.

Key Competencies

Show a strong work ethic and reliability. Pay attention to detail and plan your tasks well. Follow instructions and safety rules. Work well in a team and communicate clearly. Know basic MS Office.

Physical Requirements

You must lift heavy equipment up to 23kg. Be comfortable working at heights or in tight spaces. Good hand-eye coordination is needed.
