Requirements
Educational
- Standard 10/Grade 12
- Literacy and Numeracy
- 6 Months experience in warehouse operations
- Appropriate MHE license
Position Output
- Maintain stock shelves and retrieve stock to fulfil orders
- Safe put-away to facilitate identification ad cycle counting
- Timeous fulfillment of picking and/or packing lists
- Performs cycle counting and stock counts in line with set procedures
- Clears production area by securing and moving finished pallets; moving empty pallets
- Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
- Maintains a safe work environment by watching out for foot traffic; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Plans supply and material requirements by studying production schedules; scheduling deliveries to the production area
