When you register for a Learnership Programme you will receive training towards a full qualification but you don’t have to pay study fees. In fact, when you register for a Learnership you will be paid in the form of a stipend. This means you will be paid monthly while you are on the leadership – the amount you will be paid depends on the academic level of the Learnership.

Interested applicants can apply for the Port Elizabeth TVET College Learnership 2024 provided they qualify and meet the program requirements.
Port Elizabeth TVET College is inviting youth to apply for the learnership and Skills programmes. Youth must be currently unemployed and not studying towards another qualification.
The following Learnership opportunities are open for applications:
ICB Booking NQF L3-6
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with Mathematics
- Grade 12 with Math lit and Accounting will be an added advantage.
New venture creation NQF L2
Requirements:
- Grade 10 -12
- Must have basic numeracy and communications skills
- Must already set up own business
- Must be business oriented.
Early childhood development NQF L4
Requirements:
- Must have completed ECD L4
- Must already be practicing in an ECD centre / Pre-school / Early foundation
End user computing NQF L3
Requirements:
- Grade 10 -12
- Must be competent in skills gained in the Furthet Education and Training band up to NQF L2
Craft Enterprise NQF L4
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Must have basic numeracy and communications skills
- Must have a passion for creation of arts and craft products
Professional Cookery NQF L4
Requirements:
- Grade 11- 12
- Must be creative, Love cooking
Clothing Production NQF L4
Requirements:
- Grade 10- 12
- Must be creative
Furniture making: wood
Requirements:
- Grade 10- 12
- Engineering or related activities at NQF L1 will be an added advantage
Agriculture: Plant production
Requirements:
- Grade 10- 12
- Agriculture background will be an added advantage
To participate in this learnerships:
- Must be currently unemployed
- Must not be studying towards another qualification,
- Must be between ages of 18-35.
